What makes this environment different?
"There environment is filled with I lot of great people. Lafe is a super great coach and every time I show up I know it's going to be a fun and productive workout. It's also a safe environment because I trust Lafe's knowledge and he keeps us from injuring ourselves."
How has your performance changed in games or competitions?

What do you like about the coaching style?
"I like how interactive it is. He’s not just telling us what to do — he’s actually involved and engaged with us. The athletes are able to build a real connection with the coach, which makes the training environment more motivating and impactful."
What keeps you coming back?
"I keep coming back because I know that when times get hard, you fall back on your training. This training gives me confidence in myself and pushes me to become the best version of who I can be. It also gives me confidence knowing that if I get put in a tough situation I’ll be prepared and won’t fail."
What have you learned about pushing through adversity?
"I’ve learned that if you want to be the best, you have to become comfortable being uncomfortable. Everyone goes through tough times, but you can’t let adversity hold you back. If you truly want something bad enough, you’ll find a way to get it done."

“What is the best advice coach Lafe has ever said to you?”
Best advice: he told me to stay active and involved during an injury. It kept me from getting down about being out of sports and made my comeback stronger and faster.
What was your injury and what was it like to train with Coach Lafe after the injury?
"Injury- ACL Avulsion Fracure. After my injury, he listened to my restrictions and adjusted my training so I could still be involved. It helped me keep my strength and come back faster."

Keliah McKeehan
Wrestling / Softball / Flag Football
What habits have you built since starting?
"Since starting I have learned the importance of consistency. You can’t progress if you work hard for a few weeks and then take a few weeks break, you have to keep pushing. The good thing is, when you keep working, it becomes a way of life. You can see and feel the benefits of it over time. It becomes easier to maintain a nutrition plan, you get stronger, faster, have better endurance, and you learn to love the process."
What do you like about the coaching style?
"I love the coaching style because it is the perfect mix of intensity and fun. Lafe teaches us to have discipline and work hard, and that when we do, we can have fun at the same time. Most of us are pretty competitive too, and Lafe always challenges us to beat each other. It’s not only fun to compete against friends, but it also pushes us to go all out."
Would you recommend this training to other athletes? Why?
"I always recommend this training to all my friends and teammates. There is something that sets Lafe apart from other coaches. At Lafe’s, it’s not just “going to work out”, it’s a community. A place where athletes can progress physically and mentally, have fun, and be themselves while learning the importance of discipline and hard work."

Why did you choose to train at Bade Athletic Performance?
"I chose to work with Bade Athletic Performance because I wanted to enhance my athletic abilities and overall appearance. I had previously worked with Bade and was confident in his ability to push me beyond my limits. Additionally, I preferred a smaller group size to ensure I received adequate attention from the coach while being surrounded by a supportive group of individuals."
How has your performance changed in games or competitions?
"My performance in games and meets has improved significantly. The workouts we did helped me strengthen supporting muscle groups, making me overall stronger. They also improved my flexibility, reducing my risk of injury. Additionally, the workouts have helped me develop a positive mindset, enabling me to push myself and embrace discomfort."
What has improved the most since you started?
"I feel that my supporting muscles have improved the most. I can now lift weights with proper form even when pushing to my limit. This has enabled me to gain a significant amount of strength and build muscle much more easily."

Do they look forward to it? Why do you think that is?
"Yes, both Ari and Urijah actually look forward to going, which says a lot. I think it’s because Coach Lafe creates an environment that’s challenging but still positive and motivating. They feel pushed, but not overwhelmed, and they can see their own progress, which keeps them coming back."
What physical improvements have you noticed (strength, speed, size, endurance)?
"All around improvement. They’ve gotten noticeably stronger and more explosive, and their endurance has improved as well. You can see it not just in workouts, but in how they move and perform in sports. They look more confident, which has been great to see."
Have you noticed changes in their habits (nutrition, recovery, routine)?
"Definitely. One of the biggest changes has been their focus on nutrition, especially making sure they’re getting enough protein. They understand how protein supports muscle recovery and strength gains. Coach Lafe takes the time to meet with them individually to discuss goals and what it will take to meet them."

Have you seen changes in how they handle adversity or challenges?
William:
"My son was coming back from an ACL injury and lacked confidence because of lack of strength. Lafe built not only that strength back up but his original speed is starting to return. Lafe’s ability to connect with and motivate my son was top notch!"
What changes have you seen in your athlete since starting?
Sarah:
"My daughter has been working with Lafe for over a year now. As a VB and flag football player she entered the program with Lafe barely being able to spell RDL. Now she’s moving and lifting and doing it all the right way. The biggest change I’ve noticed is how much more athletic she looks and moves and just her overall strength. Lafe is giving them wellness skills that will benefit them for years to come."
Dylan Ryan
Parents
What ultimately made you say ‘yes’ to signing him up?
"I signed Dylan up because one of his favorite parts about wrestling was the conditioning, he really enjoyed weight lifting, working out and pushing to get to the next level. Your program helps him do that."
Have you noticed a difference in their energy or motivation?
"Since joining your program he has had a significant increase in motivation and energy. He started going for runs for fun, 30 mile bike rides and he joined rugby for a way to stay active with friends."
What reassured you that your child was in the right environment?
"I’m certain that Dylan is in the right environment because he comes home and is so excited to talk about his new personal bests and new goals he is ready to work for. He is sore from working hard but still shows up because it makes him happy and that makes me happy."
